Secondary Section
A very warm welcome to the Secondary Section of the British International School of Jeddah. The Secondary Section is a busy, vibrant place, full of learning and opportunity that builds upon the excellent work achieved by our Primary Section colleagues.
As a school, we are rightfully very proud of the excellent academic outcomes achieved by BISJ students in external board examinations and the top universities that they go on to join around the world. This is an important measure of the academic rigour of the curriculum and the success and hard work of our students, staff, and school as a whole.
Of equal importance is the richness and breadth of experience gained by BISJ students. Whether that be from the extensive after school activities, stunning school shows and performances, high performing sporting teams or the opportunity to travel internationally on school trips. All of these are examples of formative experiences that help to develop the whole person and leave lasting memories and friendships for life. Our graduates, alumni and staff look back with fond memories on their time here. Many teachers who have left choose to return and work again at the school, just as graduates and ex-students register their children with us to gain an educational experience aligned with their own.
I am delighted that ‘Conti’ students demonstrate the school’s vision in their daily lives by learning to live, learning to learn and learning to lead.
I hope that you will choose to visit our school and experience this special place.

In this constantly changing and dynamic world we realise that more than ever before that as parents and educators we need to share good practice about what works when it comes to supporting and raising our children.
